My name is Gina and I am in my early 50's.  I have lived in San Diego most of my life and I currently reside in Palm Springs.

My passion for traveling came at a very young age. Although I had traveled to many places growing up with my parents,  Backpacking in Europe after college was the icing on the cake!  I wish we had blogs then.  We had Rick Steve's who to this day is still going strong and who I still admire and envy!  Oh and we had Lets go Europe.

I have always had the traveling bug!  I traveled to Europe Backpacking on a 5 week adventure.  I have traveled with my Ex husband to Europe.  After the divorce I read Eat, Pray and Love which meant a lot to me.  I wanted to take a journey too to find peace just as she did.  My trip to find peace was Greece.  I picked Greece because it was one place I had not been to and it seemed beautiful.  I went to Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos.  You see I was going through a very painful divorce while my mom was dying of Breast Cancer.  I needed to see beauty in my life.

I continued to travel to Albania and the 1 year after my mom dies I was fortunate to travel to Switzerland.  I did a lot of traveling on my own.

The rest of my travels would be in the states or Mexico.

I am now back to traveling a lot more....which is my passion...especially after the covid lockdowns.  .I decided I wanted to start a blog because there is so much information out there.  I have had sensory overload many times.   I want to share my experiences in the hope I can help people and make their lives easier when it comes to traveling.

We so far this year have done three trips to Napa, a trip to Miami, San Diego, Utah, Florida and we are planning another trip to the Gulf Coast of Florida and a trip to Europe.
